When couples hear “intimacy,” they often think of one thing:  Special bedroom time.  But it could mean other, less naughty stuff, like:  Sharing a toothbrush in a pinch . . . or tag-teaming the fridge “sniff test.”  (???)

People online are talking about the special things they do with their significant other that they consider even MORE intimate than sex.

Here are a few:

1.  Letting someone see you at your most vulnerable, whether that’s crying . . . sharing your deepest fears . . . or being completely honest about your feelings.

2.  Some say they consider this the best comment:  “Knowing I don’t have to be scared of what their reaction is going to be when I’m going through something, or need something.”

3.  Caring for them when they are sick . . . injured . . . hurt . . . or recovering.

4.  Reading books together.  Or even reading books TO each other.

5.  A good hug.

6.  A really good massage.

7.  Showing genuine interest in the things they love, or the hobbies they have.

8.  Staying awake all night in bed and talking.

9.  Saying, “I saw this [thing], and thought of you [or got it for you].”

10.  Playing music together.

11.  “Sharing a kitchen . . . without threats being involved.”

12.  Putting together IKEA furniture with someone.

13.  “Letting someone play with your good controller.

14.  Having food poisoning together . . . in a single bathroom apartment.

15.  And here’s some food for thought:  Someone said, “Literally anything in a healthy relationship can be more intimate than sex.”
