It was a tough afternoon for travel on Friday afternoon on I-55 near Springfield.
Near Milepost 98 around 3:22p there was a single-vehicle rollover crash involving a semi that sent one person to the hospital.
Just a few minutes earlier near Mile Post 95 a transport bus and a passenger vehicle collided. The transport bus struck the guardrail on the left shoulder in the left lane, resulting in two individuals being transported with injuries.
