The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum has added nearly 500 high-resolution images to its online collection.
Newly posted images include photos of Lincoln’s assassin, John Wilkes Booth; images of many places Lincoln lived; and scenes related to Lincoln’s death.
The collection hosted by the Secretary of State’s Illinois Digital Archives now contains nearly 1,500 photos, illustrations and cartoons related to Lincoln. The collection is at PresidentLincoln.illinois.gov/PicturingLincoln
