Taylorville Police arrested a Moweaqua man on Friday evening on a warrant for aggravated battery involving strangulation and assault.
Police said 35-year-old Brent Musser was arrested along Cherokee Street on the warrant from another county. Musser was also charged with possession of methamphetamine.
