Gas prices in Illinois increased slightly over last week.
According to GasBuddy.com the average price per gallon in Illinois is currently $3.49 a gallon up .6 cents from last week.
$3.49 a gallon is also 5.3 cents higher than the price a month ago. However, the price is still 12.3 cents lower than the same time last year.
