One person was taken to an area hospital after becoming trapped in a grain bin near Nokomis on Monday evening.
The Nokomis Area Fire Protection District reported Springfield firefighters worked with departments from Montgomery and Christian counties for about an hour and half to free the person.
No details on the victim’s condition were released. No injuries were reported to emergency personnel.
