Taylorville Police said on Thursday that an alleged threat at the city’s junior high school was unfounded.
Police did not provide details of the threat but said interviews and forensic analysis of a phone determined the threat was not credible.
Police and school officials warned that this and similar actions will be investigated and can lead to consequences.
