A 55-year-old man has died after being struck by a vehicle on Friday in the 1700 block of South Dirksen Parkway in Springfield.
Sangamon County Coroner Jim Allmon said Walter David Arnold of Springfield died Saturday as a patient at HSHS St. John’s Hospital.
An autopsy is scheduled for today. Police and the coroner’s office are investigating.
