This is the first week of fall, which means it’s time to stop complaining about stores having their Halloween stuff out.
There’s a new ranking of the “best things about fall” . . . thanks to the FALL ENTHUSIASTS who are crazed enough to vote in online polls about seasons.
Here’s the Top 15:
1. Autumn leaves. (“RAKING autumn leaves” didn’t make the list.)
2. Crisp air.
3. Comfy clothes. (Eventually. It’s still in the 90s in the South and West.)
4. The weather.
5. Cozy fires.
6. Hot chocolate.
7. Halloween.
8. Cozy sweaters.
9. Beautiful nature trails.
10. Thanksgiving.
11. “Everything seems more mysterious.”
12. Fall fruits and vegetables.
13. “Finding the perfect pumpkin.”
14. Pumpkin pie.
15. Halloween candy.
