The Illinois Department of Public Health has issued fall vaccine guidance that urges residents to follow traditional vaccine schedules.
The state guidance moves away from new federal guidance and also includes a statewide order ensuring access to the COVID-19 vaccine after new federal standards reduced access.
IDPH recommends residents follow previous vaccine schedules developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in August 2025.
