Resurfacing is underway on a three-mile-long stretch of Wabash Avenue in Springfield and Jerome.
The Illinois Department of Transportation reports work on Wabash from Robbins Road to MacArthur Boulevard will mostly be done at night with access to side streets affected along with lane closures.
The 5-million-dollar project is expected to be completed by the beginning of December.
