The Springfield Fire Department responded to a call about a car submerged in Lake Springfield on Friday morning.
According to the report the vehicle was reported in the water at approximately 8:00 a.m.
The department’s Sonar team initially located the vehicle from Marine 1 and firefighters cross trained as divers confirmed the vehicle was unoccupied. The vehicle was then removed from the water.
