Organizers of Chatham StrongFest say the event raised more than 183-thousand dollars to support families in the aftermath of a crash that killed five youths and injured others in late April at YNOT Outdoors.
The event held July 6 at Chatham Community Park included live music and entertainment, local food and recognition of first responders.
One of the organizers, Jason Dolby, said the funds are being handled by the Chatham Jaycees to distribute to a fund set up by the Glenwood High School student council to benefit affected families.
