Republican candidate for governor Darren Bailey says one way to lessen financial burdens on Illinoisans is to control rising energy costs.
The former state senator told WMAY’s Patrick Pfingsten on PM Springfield that Democratic clean energy policies have resulted in higher power bills.
Bailey also said the state’s high property tax burden can be reduced by changing school funding formulas and eliminating some levels of government.
