Gasoline prices in the Midwest remained steady over the past week according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.
The average price of regular fuel in the Midwest last week was $2.93.
Triple-A reports the average price of regular gasoline in the Springfield area is about $3.17, which is down about a cent from yesterday, down six cents from a week ago and down about 15 cents from a month ago.
