Fall Festival, Frankenstein, Flannel and Fizz for The Weekender for October 10, 2025

Now that it actually feels like fall, these events will be even more fun this weekend.

New Salem Candelight Walk
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Lincoln’s New Salem State Historic Site.. 5pm – 7:30pm each night.

Flannel & Fizz
Friday 6-10pm at Bomke’s Patch.  $12 admission, 21 and older.  Dress in your best flannel inspired outfit and join them for an evening of live music, night maze, bonfire, food and drinks.

Fall Harvest Festival
Saturday and Sunday at Lincoln Memorial Garden and Nature Center.  Saturday 9am – 4pm and Sunday 10am – 4pm.  All ages welcome.

Carve for the Carillon
Saturday 11am – 4pm and Sunday 11am – 4pm at Thomas Rees Memorial Carillon in Washington Park.
This is a free family event where the community comes and together to carve pumpkins that will be displayed during the Jack-o-lantern Spectacular the following weekend.  Bring you carving tools.  Pumpkins provided while they last.
