The average price for a gallon of gas is almost 10 cents cheaper this week than it was last week according to GasBuddy.com.
GasBuddy has the average price for a gallon gas in Illinois at $3.18 a gallon.
That is 9.8 cents cheaper than last week as well as 26 cents lower than last month and 28.3 cents lower than the same time last year.
