Christian County authorities say two people died in separate crashes on Wednesday.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Department reported Thursday that 37-year-old Jessica Stephens died after her minivan was struck by a vehicle that failed to stop at an intersection north of Taylorville before 8 a.m. Her hometown was not listed.
The department said 91-year-old Mary Ann Johnson of Nokomis died after a crash in southern Christian County after 5 pm after her vehicle entered an intersection and collided with a pickup truck.
