A car chase in downtown Springfield came to an end beneath the Maid-Rite Sandwich shop sign on Saturday.
A black Ford Edge SUV carrying two individuals fled Springfield Police across several city blocks. Multiple SPD vehicles incurred damage across the length of the pursuit, including at 5th & Cook St., and Monroe & College St.
