Gas prices in Illinois dropped 12.4 cents since last week according to GasBuddy.com.
GasBuddy has the average price for a gallon of gas in Illinois at $3.06 a gallon.
That is 12.4 cents lower than last week, 31.2 cents lower than last month and 30.8 cents lower than the same time last year.
