Springfield Police have arrested three individuals in connection to two bank robberies in Springfield in October.
The first robbery took place on October 9th at the US Bank on E. North Grand Ave.
The second took place on October 18th at Clock Tower Community Bank on Sangamon Ave. In that incident Springfield Police chased the suspects.
The chase ended near Pasfield St. and Jefferson St., where the vehicle was disabled. Jacob Ortiz-Wilson 35 and Shaea Keys 32 both from Danville were apprehended when they excited the vehicle. Winston Douglas 33 of La Salle attempted to flee but was eventually captured.
All three were charged with financial institution robbery as well as other charges. The investigation is ongoing.
