Cocktails to go may become a permanent thing in Illinois if a new bill is allowed to pass.
The bill builds upon the law that allowed restaurants to sell to go cocktails during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Senate Bill 618 would permanently allow bars and restaurants to continue selling cocktails and mixed drinks for delivery and curbside pickup.
The bill passed the Senate in the first week of veto session and now heads to the House.
