The son and daughter-in-law and two grandchildren of Republican candidate for governor Darren Bailey have been killed in a helicopter crash in Montana, according to a statement Wednesday night from Bailey’s campaign.
The Baileys’ son Zachary, his wife Cindy, and their children 12-year-old Vada Rose and 7-year-old Samuel, died in the Wednesday crash. The Baileys’ other grandson, 10-year-old Finn, was not on the helicopter and is safe according to the campaign.
The family thanked those who have expressed kindness and support and asked for privacy as they grieve.
