Two busy streets on Springfield’s north end are closed beginning today for six weeks for the final phase of water main relocation work for the Springfield Rail Improvement Project.
Eleventh Street from Reservoir Street to Converse Avenue and North Grand Avenue from 9th to 13th streets are closed.
City Water, Light and Power is relocating 2,000 feet of a 24-inch water main. Detours are posted.
