The Brenaissance lives on. Brendan Fraser is in talks to return as Rick O’Connell for another “Mummy” movie, along with Rachel Weisz as his wife Evelyn.
There aren’t many details yet. A source says this is NOT a reboot, and is a sequel that would disregard the third movie, “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor”. (Rachel didn’t return for that one, and her character was played by Maria Bello.)
There’s no word if any other actors are returning to the franchise.
