The City of Springfield has found their new Professional Planner for the Office of Planning and Economic Development.
In a press release the city has announced that effective today, December 1st, Suraksha Bhandari has been hired for the role.
The releases states that Suraksha brings a strong background in urban planning, architecture, and disaster risk management. It also states that This decision highlights the important role planning plays in the City’s growth and development.
Suraksha most recently completed her Master’s in City and Metropolitan Planning at the University of Utah, where she led research on land use, resilience, and housing strategies.
