A 38-year-old Springfield man was arrested last week as a result of an ongoing narcotics investigation by Springfield Police.
Officers executing a search warrant at the home of Terry Ballinger on Wednesday found crack cocaine, a semi-automatic pistol and cash.
Ballinger was taken to the Sangamon County Jail.
