IDOT has released that 5 major resurfacing projects were completed in Springfield in 2025.
Those projects included Sixth Street from Spruce Street to Ash Street, North Dirksen Parkway from North Peoria Road to Northfield Drive, Veterans Parkway from Prairie Crossing Drive to Greenbriar Drive, Wabash Avenue from Robbins Road to MacArthur Boulevard, and Ninth Street from Madison Street to Sangamon Avenue.
The total cost of these projects was just over $25 million dollars.
