A 52-year-old Springfield man is charged with aggravated driving under the influence for a crash on New Year’s Eve that injured a Springfield police officer.
Police said witnesses told them a vehicle driven by Albert Nacteta-Ngandjui crashed into a police vehicle at Fifth Street and South Grand Avenue after 2 a.m.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for January 15.
