The Springfield City Council on Tuesday approved the creation of a new class of liquor license dedicated to sports complexes.
Class “P” liquor licenses entitle the licensee to sell alcohol for consumption on the premises of sports facilities during various sporting events or private functions.
As with other liquor licenses, Class “P” licenses do not permit sale of alcohol between 2:00 and 7:00 AM.
