Civil rights icon Reverend Jesse Jackson has died. He was 84.
Jackson was hospitalized in November while battling a progressive neuromuscular disease.
Jackson was born in North Carolina but eventually made Chicago his home. He founded the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition and ran for president in 1984 and 1988.
