Starting at 10:30am
Parking is limited on the day of the Plunge, but shuttles will be made available to/from the Glenwood Intermediate School parking lot for overflow parking.
Post Plunge Party
Food provided by MJ Kellner and drinks from Heartland Coca-Cola immediately following the Plunge. Lunch is free for Polar Plungers and is avaialble to spectators for any donation amount.
Polar Plunge Facts
The Polar Plunge raises critical funding to the Special Olympics Illinois community for more than 60,000 athletes, Young Athletes, Unified partners, coaches, and volunteers to have access to life-changing programming including year-round sports competitions and training, health and wellness, as well as leadership and personal development.
In 2025 Polar Plunge raised more than $3,000,000 for the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois.
More than 10,000 took the plunge!
