Republican candidate for governor Darren Bailey says lowering property taxes begins with eliminating many state mandates for schools.
Bailey told Patrick Pfingsten on WMAY’s PM Springfield that shifting the funding burdens from property taxes won’t be easy or quick.
Bailey also blamed Governor JB Pritzker for interfering with Immigration and Customs Enforcement efforts to deport criminals who are in the country illegally.
