Sangamon County voters approved a proposition to fund a board to provide mental health resources and services. The referendum passed with nearly 53 percent voting in favor of implementing a half-percent sales tax.
Ball-Chatham school district voters approved issuing 110 million dollars in building bonds. The measure passed with 53 percent of the vote. Ball-Chatham Schools Superintendent Dr. Becca LamonĀ said many repairs and upgrades to district buildings have been identified.
Illiopolis Fire Protection District voters approved increasing the limiting tax rate to 31 cents by a vote of 195-55.
