FISHER Postpones ‘Out 2 Lunch’ National Expansion Amid National Fuel Shortages

By Mariana A Apr 11, 2026 | 4:22 AM

FISHER’s Out 2 Lunch Festival has been postponed, with organizers saying Friday that the event will no longer take place on its planned May 2026 dates. The multi-city Australian run was set to visit Melbourne, the Gold Coast, Sydney, and Perth as part of its largest edition so far.

In the announcement, organizers said the delay came after ongoing pressure across the live events market. They pointed to the cost of living crisis, rising inflation, and broader economic uncertainty as major factors behind the decision. The statement also referenced diesel supply concerns, which could affect transport, generators, and other production needs tied to a festival moving across four cities in a short span.

FISHER also addressed fans, saying the team looked at every possible option before deciding to push the event back. New dates for 2027 have not yet been confirmed.

Tickets already purchased will remain valid for the rescheduled festival. Refunds are also being offered for fans who do not want to hold on to their tickets until the new dates are announced.
