When you were younger, did you make fun of old people doing old people things? But I bet now that you’ve gotten older, most of that stuff you made fun of is pretty great.
There’s a list floating around of “old person” habits that millennials used to mock but now realize they’re amazing.
Here are some of the best:
1. Running. Someone said that when they were a teenager, they used to mock runners, and now it’s their favorite thing to do.
2. Eating an early dinner. Nothing is better than going out for a 5 p.m. dinner. It’s never busy.
3. Staying home on weekends.
4. Not wasting anything.
5. Getting off social media.
6. Listening to music at a normal volume.
7. Going to bed earlier.
8. Drinking prune juice. Kids will make fun of it until the day they need it.
And in completely opposite news: Old people are now doing parkour to stay agile. So, young people are going to bed early? And old people are doing parkour? What is the world coming to?
(Here’s the rest of the list. What’s something you used to make fun of, but now you realize you couldn’t have been more wrong?)
