Once you reach a certain age, you have the privilege of imparting your knowledge to the youngsters. And that knowledge includes what MOVIES from past generations they need to see.
The editors of “Cosmopolitan” put together a list of 50 “old” movies that “every young person needs to watch.” And while it comes off more as just a list of movies they like, there are a lot of classics on it.
They include
“The Breakfast Club”,
“Heathers”,
“My Girl”,
“Thelma & Louise”,
“E.T.”,
“A Nightmare on Elm Street”,
“Big”,
“Pretty in Pink”,
“Dead Poets Society”,
“Who Framed Roger Rabbit”,
“The Shawshank Redemption”,
“Misery”,
“The Sandlot” and
“Showgirls” ???
So the question is, what movie or movies would YOU pass down to future generations?
What movies do you think they NEED to see?
