The City of Decatur has a new Director of Finance and City Treasurer and it is the same person.
The City hired Michele Anderson for both roles. Anderson, a Macon County resident, began the job Tuesday, Sept. 8.
She previously served as chief financial officer for Clarkson Grain Company in Cerro Gordo, where she oversaw financial operations and helped guide long-term planning.
Anderson has a Master of Business Administration from Baker University and a bachelor’s degree in business from Eastern Illinois University, with concentrations in accounting and finance.
