Adena Rivas heads the Creative Reuse Marketplace, a small non-profit that seeks to provide education and job training for low-income, unemployed, and/or homeless women. The Creative Reuse Marketplace builds a creative space for community learning and decreases the City’s waste stream by diverting tons of materials away from our local landfill. Teachers, students, artists, families and community groups, use and/or redistribute locally.
