Several Springfield area businesses are featured in this year’s Illinois Made Holiday Gift Guide from the Illinois Office of Tourism. The list, first published in 2016, highlights small businesses around the state to encourage people to shop on Small Business Saturday on November 26, 2022.
“Supporting small businesses is key to economic growth and plays an important role in driving tourism to Illinois’ communities and neighborhoods,” said Sylvia I. Garcia, Director of the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) which includes the Illinois Office of Tourism. “The annual Illinois Made Gift Guide encourages residents and visitors to discover the perfect Holiday gift by visiting and shopping at local businesses in every corner of the state this holiday season.”
Sangamon Reclaimed in Springfield made the list of 38 Illinois businesses along with Cocoa Blue Chocolates in Rochester and Danenberger Family Vineyard in New Berlin.
