It’s National Slider Day, and White Castle is handing them out, no purchase necessary. You only get one though. They’re usually around a buck each.
They posted a coupon online. You’re supposed to show it to get one. But word is some locations are just handing them out if you mention the deal. (14 states have White Castles, mostly in the Midwest.)
White Castle’s southern equivalent, Krystal, also has a National Slider Day deal. They’re doing buy-one-get-one sliders if you order online and use the code “SliderDay”. (10 states have Krystals, mostly in the South.)
White Castle was actually America’s first fast-food burger chain. They invented sliders in 1921. Back then, each one cost a nickel.
