Pauly Shore is trying to drum up interest in a Richard Simmons biopic starring, well . . . Pauly Shore, of course.
In a new Instagram post, he says he’s been playing phone tag with Richard in an effort to make it happen . . . and he’s asking fans to hit up all the big producers, like Amazon, Disney, and HBO.
And he adds, quote, “I definitely can morph into this guy. I’ll see you at the [the Oscars] 2025.” (???)
Unfortunately, TMZ heard from someone close to Richard that he’s NOT INTERESTED. It’s nothing against Pauly . . . Richard is just enjoying his life out of the spotlight, and he doesn’t want to change that.
