Cher’s daughter-in-law, Mariangela King, claims in a new divorce court filing that the iconic singer hired four men to forcibly remove her son, Elijah Blue Allman, from his home prior to his stay at an unnamed rehab facility—while he was attempting to reconcile with his wife on their anniversary. Allman, who has long battled heroin addiction, had been living at the infamous Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles. The staff there reportedly witnessed his worrying behavior, including passing out as he entered the building. "I was told by one of the four men who took him that they were hired by petitioner's mother," King said in her court filing. "Since August 2022, I have been told that I am not allowed to see or speak to [Allman] who is currently in lockdown at a treatment facility that is undisclosed to me."
