Police investigating shots fired on east side

Springfield police are investigating a report of shots fired on the city’s east side Saturday afternoon.Witnesses told police that a man got out of a dark-colored sedan on Monroe Street near Wheeler Avenue around 12:14 p.m. and fired several rounds of shots to the north.
