Forget Ozempic, Hipsters are Now Turning to “OATzempic”…

That’s the phrase being used for a new trend in which dieters stuff themselves with oatmeal in order to drop some pounds.

The trick, according to TikTok, is to consume it in a drink mixed with lime juice and water – and some users say they’ve shed 40 pounds in two months from the trick.

Experts say there’s nothing exactly unhealthy about the drink, but want people to know there’s no way it compares with Ozempic or Wegovy. Dr. Mir Ali says, “Ozempic is a hormone that affects your brain, as well as your gut. It suppresses the appetite for up to a week. When you eat oats, it can help you feel full for a few hours. They are certainly not the same.”
