Lionsgate got temporarily banned from TikTok for a livestream promoting “The Strangers – Part 1” on Tuesday night.
It apparently had shadowy footage with a masked person holding a sign that said “Is Tamara here?” It freaked a lot of people out, and TikTok said it violated its rules against “dangerous activities and challenges.”
Madelaine Petsch, who stars in the film, said, quote, “Ooops!” You’d recognize her as Cheryl Blossom from “Riverdale”.
“The Strangers – Part 1” hits theaters on the 17th. It’s the first in a new prequel trilogy to 2008’s “The Strangers”.
