Cher has revealed that she has changed her mind about being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Following a typically opinionated appearance last year on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Cher expressed her frustration about her continued omission from the Rock Hall, saying, “I wouldn’t be in it now if they gave me a million dollars. I’m never going to change my mind. They can just go you-know-what themselves.” But following her being selected for induction into this year’s class of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (alongside Mary J. Blige, Ozzy Osbourne, Dave Matthews Band, and more), Cher has graciously had a change of heart. “I can thank David Geffen, my friend and most wonderful person ever, and John Sikes,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “I’m going to have some words to say. I’m going to accept it as me.” (Variety)
