In addition to Juvenile’s tour announcement, his hometown of New Orleans also declared June 11th, 2024, “Back That Azz Up Day” in the city. Juvenile’s huge 63-date North American tour naturally gets started in New Orleans on July 7, and winds down with another homecoming show on New Year’s Eve. “I am beyond excited to celebrate 25 years of ‘Back That Azz Up’ with my fans,” Juvenile said in a statement. “This song has been a huge part of my musical journey, and it’s amazing to see it still resonate with people today and I can’t wait for the moment each night of the tour when the song drops.” (Consequence of Sound)
