Schoenburg: County hires full-time communications chief

Jeff Wilhite, a native of the Cass County city of Virginia who lives in New Berlin, began a full-time job as director of communications for Sangamon County in late May.Wilhite, 26, joined the county in mid-March on a $5,000-per-month contract.
