Wiz Khalifa Responds To His Illegal Drug Possession Charge In Romania

Wiz Khalifa was taken off stage and charged with illegal drug possession after the rapper smoked marijuana on stage at the Beach, Please! Festival on Saturday night in the Romanian village of Costinești. According to the press release issued by Romania’s anti-organized crime prosecutors known as DIICOT,  Khalifa “possessed over 18 grams of cannabis (risk drug) and consumed (onstage) another amount of cannabis under the shape of a craft cigarette.” Khalifa praised his treatment by Romanian officials and made light of the incident with a post on X on Sunday, “Last nights show was amazing. I didn’t mean any disrespect to the country of Romania by lighting up on stage. They were very respectful and let me go. I’ll be back soon. But without a big ass joint next time.” Khalifa’s next scheduled show is set to take place in Las Vegas at Drai’s Beachclub & Nightclub on August 30 and 31. (Entertainment Tonight)
